Bare Evening Light

This fading evening lighting highlights bare trees, creating near-silhouettes that emphasize their intricate limbs and branches. What I find appealing about this is the combination of both intricate detail and a sense of delicacy.
Although fall is my favorite time of year, I have a keen respect for winter. There is a certain honesty about winter when the detailed bareness beneath the camouflage of leaves and growth is revealed.

I like this image, also. Almost has a black and white feel. I am also a fan of fall and the changes it brings to the natural world. Infinite beauty in so many ways and places. I will enjoy it before the cold of winter arries.
