Nature’s Artistry

A couple of days ago, I stepped outside our back door on a crisp fall morning in North Carolina and was greeted by a breathtaking display of bright yellow and vibrant orange leaves adorning the trees like nature’s confetti. The sun reflected off the wispy clouds, casting a warm golden glow that illuminated the landscape and made the colors even more vivid. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves, creating a soft symphony of whispers that added to the tranquility of the moment. The air was fresh and cool, invigorating my senses as I took in the beauty around me. It was a morning that made one feel alive, a perfect reminder of nature’s artistry during this wonderful season.
It is expected to rain, be cool, and be dreary for the next few days. This is actually a good thing, as we have been experiencing a mild drought and are quite dry. Hopefully, we will receive enough rain to alleviate the situation, allowing me to stop watering the plants for a while. Although these two situations may seem opposite, both are positive in their own way and in their own moment in time. I am thankful.

What a glow in this scene, very nice Earl. We are in a pretty bad drought here also, but colors are really starting to pop this week.
Thanks, Mark! I read somewhere that it was dry up your way. We’ve had a little rain so far today, just enough to settle the dust but not enough to do much good. However, they say there’s a chance of more over the next couple of days; fingers crossed.
What a wonderful image of nature’s confetti show!! I love it when the photographer’s eye is looking all the time. Something I like just as much is your poetic/prose description of what you saw. Well done!! I see that you are getting some rain so keep dancing.
Thank you, Monte. I appreciate it. We haven’t gotten much rain so far, but I’m forever hopeful. If it depends upon my dancing, we’re in trouble. Haha!
