I discovered this appealing lighting display above the entryway of a recent hotel we stayed in. The bright blue of the sky through the windows and the warm yellow glow of the lighting shades complemented each other, while the straight edges/lines and rounded curves provided an interesting visual contrast.
Perhaps it’s the recent heat and humidity which has me drawn to these beach scenes or the almost daily rain storms. With all the alleyways and passages in Venice, Italy, there are thousands of interesting windows and doors. We often wondered what one would find if they could venture behind those doors for a glimpse of the life those who live in Venice.
