Unexpected Breakfast Guest
Yesterday morning, shortly after 5 AM, I noticed that the motion-sensitive floodlight in our backyard was on. Just the day before, I had refilled a bird feeder next to our small patio and spilled some bird seed. It turns out a white-tailed deer decided to stop by for a snack. I was only about six feet away, separated by a window. Fortunately, Bentley didn’t see the deer; otherwise, there would have been quite a commotion.









Hopefully not snacking on too many of your plants.
No, knowing that deer are always around, we check if a plant is resistant to deer when planting it. Of course, they sometimes still nibble on a few.
