“We are all in the gutter, but some of us a looking at the stars” – Oscar Wilde
I might have shared a version of this image before; it’s an old one from our RV travels 2015. However, the image processing tools and my abilities have improved, making the reprocessing of most images noticeably better. I’m reasonably sure it’s more about the advancements in tools than my skills.
I think the quote speaks for itself in today’s political and social climate, and I hope we can still find some remaining bright points after all is said and done. I empathize with those targeted groups experiencing fear, uncertainty, and discrimination in our current situation. I also acknowledge my perceived safety as a white, straight male is a clear example of white privilege in this country. Sadness and anger!

Wow! This is a wonderful image! Sadness and anger are two good words to describe my feelings also.
Thanks, Monte. This photo was made just after we started RVing, so it comes with good memories.
This photo is everything BUT a sad state. But I get it.
Thanks for the comment about this image, Mark. I had initially selected it with other text in mind, but strong feelings took over.
