“Setting boundaries is not just about defining limits; it’s about creating a foundation for growth. Once you establish those boundaries, you can challenge yourself to excel and exceed them.” – unknown
These “Festivus” posts began with an arbitrary boundary limiting photos to those taken from on, above, or below this year’s Christmas tree. Our living room features a 14-foot vaulted ceiling, and while we previously had a 6-foot tree, this year, we opted for a more fitting, slim 10-foot version. Bonnie did a fantastic job decorating it in a modern blue and white theme. I didn’t run out of photo ideas, but I didn’t want to overwhelm this blog’s few visitors. So, I’m concluding the series with this photo of the entire tree.
I realize this series of posts focuses more on Christmas than Festivus, but my thoughts and feelings about Christmas likely place me somewhere in the middle anyway, especially with how commercialized the holiday is. Still, Happy Holidays to everyone! 🎅
Happy Holidays to you, also, Great looking tree!
Thanks, Ken; best wishes for a wonderful holiday season for you and your family.
Merry Festivus! Earl.
Have a great holiday, Joe, thanks!
I like how you finished this series with the complete tree. I’ve enjoyed this series and loved your poetry and the selected quotes. Perfect. Let Bonnie know she did a fabulous job! It is a festive tree and a piece of art. I’m curious what series you will publish next.
