‘X-Ray’, Autumn Leaves, Nov2024

While ‘playing’ around with this image, I quickly realized how much of its identity was enclosed in its color and surrounding forms. They are still clearly leaves, but narrowing them down to a specific period in their life span is near impossible. This sent my mind swirling off, considering what clues we use to identify and categorize other things, including people. Food for thought!

Dang! I loved enlarging this image and spending time with it. You have done a wonderful job! I had really never thought of how often I tried to determine what stage of aging process of each leaf is but I sure do. I am much more aware of the leaves of fall, those lying on the ground, those drifting to the ground and those still hanging on. I will now see them a bit different, thanks to you.
