Rustic Autumn, @Nov2024

As we approach the end of the vibrant autumn leaf season, I find great photographic interest in the imperfections of the final leaves as they turn spotted and brown. Aren’t the imperfections often the most interesting features of anything or anybody; even ourselves?

In any case, I’m nearing the end of this season’s leaf photos.

I like the contrast of the bright yellows and muted greens. Nice one, Earl.

I find my focus this time of the year to leaves, frost, and all the stuff in between. The art and creativity of natures colors and media are why I must carry a camera with me. I agree with our imperfections to most interesting features. I read a book a few years ago called the Spirituality of Imperfection. What I took from their book is that our acceptance of our imperfections is our perfection. Which brings up my awareness the the leaves are perfect just the way they are. Enjoy your Saturday!!! And, if your up to it show us more leaves!!

You must be reading my mind. I’ve been tempted to do a post on the wabi-sabi aspects of leaves. Great minds …. :-)
