As we drove into northern Pennsylvania, the autumn leaf colors became more pronounced, and we knew that we would probably hit peak or near peak colors in upper New York and Vermont. There were so many places I wanted to pull over and stop the car to photograph; it’s a wonder we made as good of time as we did.
OTHER CHAPTERS OF THIS STORY:
I can relate to wanting to pull over or at least looking for places to pull over. I’m also pretty sure I wander all over the road, looking!!
Our car has some of those “nanny” safety features and starts nagging me if my eyes wander away for too long or I barely cross a road lane line. But Bonnie keeps me pretty much under control, too. Haha! 😂
I’ve always liked the contrast between autumn colors and conifers – I think they make nice framing elements in the landscape. Beautiful view!
I agree. Thanks! Getting this photo involved one of those pullovers: crossing a busy road, jumping a safety barrier and cautiously inching to the edge of a slight dropoff. You know, the good stuff! 😉
