We’ve just completed a road trip chasing fall colors in Vermont, Upper State New York and Pennsylvania, covering 2,000+ miles of secondary/local roads. We timed it well, having at or near peak colors in our northernmost journeys. Since my previous post was over a month ago, I wanted to use this post as a quick “placeholder/teaser.” There will be more to come.
I’ve never been to Vermont, but have always heard it is the place to be for fall colors. Looking forward to the big reveal! :)
I lived and worked in Vermont many, many, many years ago and have always been partial to it since. This trip was Bonnie’s first time seeing the Vermont fall colors at their peak, and she quickly became a “believer.” The big reveal, hmm…it seems I might have oversold it. 😏
My only visit to vermont was Burlington when working as a flight attendant. It was a lovely city, the New England look.
Burlington is lovely and is “Big City” by Vermont standings. Vermont has the general attitude and feels of “live and let live.”
