What would it be like if our lives were a museum we could visit? Each exhibit represents a moment in our lives, a memory frozen in time. We are the curators of our museum, carefully choosing what we want to display for the world to see. Like in a museum, I’m sure some exhibits would be more appealing than others. Some may be more meaningful, while others may seem trivial. But as the curator, we’d know each display serves a purpose, giving a glimpse into who we are and what we value, experience or dream of in our lives.
We might learn a lot about ourselves by viewing ourselves through this lens. We’d see what we have accomplished, what we have overcome, and what we may have yet to conquer. We can also pay tribute to the people who have impacted our lives and the moments that have shaped us into who we are today. We’d also need to be careful not to get too caught up in the past on one exhibit because you must view all to comprehend the complete story. There would also be new exhibits to be added in the future.
So, as the best curator of your museum, what exhibits, both old and new, would you choose to represent best who you are and want to be?

Can I ask first what the ticket price is? ;p
It’s an interesting exercise for sure. I suppose we all do a bit of daily curating of what is going on, and the “cleaning up” when there is company. If I had an empty room, I suppose I could put a sign on it saying “reserved for future exhibit.” Then a sign on my basement saying “employees only.”
I don’t know the admission price, but many would appreciate attendees signing an NDA. LOL

For sure there would be the desire to exhibit the failures and the lessons that came with them. I suppose I would want a balance of both failures and successes. As an exercise this would be very informative, especially if we have never done one before. I know there are exhibits I do not want to share with just anyone, only closed mouth friends. I would also hope the future exhibits would be the best, as we become who we are meant to be. This is great stuff to journal about!
I’ve been considering the significance of the order in which the exhibits are presented for visitors to understand them fully. To aid in this, having marked paths on the floor, arrows, and exhibit numbers on the walls may be helpful. Additionally, providing visitors with an audio device that offers additional details and potential connections between exhibits could enhance the experience. Perhaps I’m overthinking this. 🤔
