“The gorgeous sunrise is the one that gives you hope in your heart and gives you another day to pursue your dreams.”

As the sun slowly rises above the horizon, painting the sky with pink, orange and yellow hues, it’s hard not to feel a sense of calm. The tranquillity of this moment is palpable, and it’s the perfect time for introspection and reflection.
I’m reminded of how small we are in this vast universe. It’s humbling to think that while we may have our struggles and difficulties, the world and the universe carry on regardless. It’s a reminder that we should embrace life with open arms and appreciate every moment we have.
So when I can witness a sunrise or even remember significant past sunrises, I take a few moments to appreciate it and contemplate all it represents.
Note: I feel my posting of a sunrise has to pay some tribute to Monte Stevens, who witnesses, captures and fully appreciates many more sunrises than I do. I’m up before dawn almost every morning, but I don’t have a good viewing spot. If I lived at the location in this photo, I’d be out on the porch nearly every morning.
Yes I do have a sweet place to live. I can be at several different locations for sunrise and sunset images in 5-20 minutes. They are a gift for me to enjoy. I also experience the same feelings you mention and realize how small we are in this universe, let alone this planet called earth. Witnessing a sunrise remind me of those shirts and hats made by a company that says, “Life is Good.” I must say the location for your image would be sweet location for a wrap around porch. 😍
There are places near here where the sunrises are pretty good, along one of the lakes in the area or perhaps a few high spots, but it’s not unrestricted sky and horizon. The best view is three and a half hours east to the beach or one and a half hours west to reach the mountains. Not bad and a nice variety of locations, but not an every-morning prospect. 😉 The photo above was taken from a porch, just not mine. I do have one of those “Life is Good” t-shirts somewhere. It’s probably a little worn and faded now, just like me! LOL
I also wish I had a view like this nearby to visit so easily. Like you, I am up early, but getting away to any vista requires a good time commitment. It reminds me I am overdue for one of those tranquility shots.
This photo was made from the porch of a mountain cabin owned by a friend we’d sometimes visit for a weekend. Sadly, he’s since sold the place, and I miss those visits and easy early morning views such as this. I hope you soon find the time and inspiration to find your tranquility. Have a great weekend!
