Yeah, it’s about perspective and scale, isn’t it, and what’s reality? It makes me think of the theory of our universe being perhaps only an atom of another reality/universe…and so on. I think our “artificial constructs” are often more about our own comfort of relating. :-)
I know right! To imagine the scale of the billions of stars and their own systems out there is just mind-blowing. I guess that is why I am such a fan of Sci-Fi (at least the better stuff – not SyFy … wrestling – what were they thinking?! :-) ) Oh to just spend a couple of minutes inside the head of Steven Hawking.
One of those sand dune “humps” may have been about a foot across. But you’re right, Monte, without something to provide a scale they could be perceived as being almost any size. Thanks!

Nicely done Earl. Like Mark, I too am fascinated with patterns within patterns, the repetition of constructs at every scale. If one was to simulate an entire world, or even an entire universe, that would be the economical way to do it. Gives cause to wonder at the possibility that we are merely artefacts in a simulation ;)
Thanks, Cedric. There’s definitely symmetry of scaled patterns within our universe and if a simulation…now, where did they put that reset routine. Haha 🤨
Small stones to planets, I am often fascinated by repetition from big to small. Even our artificial constructs seem to repeat at certain scales.

Wow! There is no scale in this image so my first thought is one of massive sand dunes. Love it, Earl.
