We’d planned to travel from West Memphis, AR, to Fayetteville, NC, to do another park guest guide renewal. However, the park in Fayetteville canceled on us, which we now consider a stroke of luck considering the heavy rains they’ve received on the east coast. Upon the cancellation we adjusted our schedule and are en route to Vero Beach, FL.

Exploring surrounding Arkansas
We took a few hours this weekend to visit a few of the nearby historical sites and a nature preserve. We enjoy getting to know an area, and what has perhaps made it what it is, by seeking to understanding its environment and history. One of our travel goals is to penetrate beyond the tourist experience in those areas we visit.
