“The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time.” ~~ James Taylor
The time allotted for our return to North Carolina has flown by with appointments and family visits. Our original plan was to be in the area longer but was altered/shorten by our working in one extra RV park job in Florida and then trading for a new 5th Wheel with an unplanned but necessary mid-December trip to northern Mississippi to get a few warranty items corrected at the factory.
So, with the shortened scheduled a few things we’d wanted to do didn’t get done, a few visits missed and while there have been many ups as well as a few downs it’s overall been wonderful.
We’ll leave this coming Saturday, Dec 12th, heading for Burnsville, MS. I think for some family members and friends the realization it could well be a year before we’re back is a bit realer this departure then when we left last January — for us too.
After our Mississippi visit, we’ll travel to southern Texas beginning work again mid-January. At this point, we know we’ll remain in Texas until mid-March. After that, we’re still not sure what our travel plans will be. We’re awaiting park assignments.
And, I’m sure that year will go by faster than you expect. Safe travels!
No doubt you’re right, Monte. Thanks!
