In a secluded corner of a vast forest, where the trees whispered ancient secrets and the moon bathed everything in silver light, a rare species of flowers thrived: the Nightblossoms. First, a sincere thank-you to those who via the previous post left kind birthday wishes and encouraging words on my current inspirational slump and time away from photographing, as well as my lack of participating in any meaningful way in this my little corner of the “blogosphere.”

I keep trying to convince my wife of this. She goes stir crazy if sitting quietly for too long.
Bonnie was the same way but in the last year has gotten better at “quiet time.” I think retirement has been good for her in that it made her re-evaluate what’s truly important.
Beautiful photo and nice sentiment from Lubbock. I’m all for that kind of contemplation but my wife, well, not so much :)
