October and December 2012 we celebrated the birth of grandchildren, George and Lily. This year, in October and December, we celebrated their 1st birthdays — birthdays are one of those things which as you accumulate more they become “valued” less. But the 1st is very important! George and Lily…may they have many, many, many more!
… and my best wishes for the grandparents and the parents. The look at the world becomes pretty different as soon as kids arrive.
Thanks, Markus
Ah, the joy of the “little people”. While you will always love them it seems like so much more fun when they’re toddlers. When they’re discovering the world for the first time. Take lots and lots of photographs! The seasons will pass quickly. Before you know it they’re teenagers and want to drive and stay out late. And as grandparents we go through all the worry and stress all over again. So freeze time with your camera. You’ll be glad you did………
Paul, I’ve certainly taken a lot of photos of these two this first year and I don’t see that slowing down anytime soon. Have a Merry Christmas.
Cute pics Earl. I know I certainly don’t value mine much anymore – I don’t even like getting gifts! I have no more room for stuff.
Thanks, Mark. I’d just as soon people forgot my birthday. :-)
Your grandchildren look so adorable, your images are absolutely wonderful! I wish you and your family all the best for 2014 and hope that it will be filled with happiness, joy and good health.
Martina, thanks! :-)
I love it, Earl. I must admit I prefer these two image over the selfie. I do hope you enjoyed your time with them for their first birthdays and the holidays. :-)
Monte, I could agree with you more about these images vs. my own! It was all great although busy with everything happen within a couple of months.
