This blog has been around since 2006, however in 2009, for whatever reason, I began the tradition of doing an annual self portrait — one per year. You’ll seldom see photos of me on here at any other time.
I almost let this year slip by without doing one, 2013 hasn’t been a stellar photography year for me, but I thought in honor of the 2013 Oxford word of the year, “selfie,” I’d do a selfie-photo which also fulfilled my annual self-portrait tradition duty.
So, this is it — you can view the whole collection on the MP “About” page. Look at that hair turning grey! :-)
Can we get one of Bonnie with a grimace on her face, too? ;) Excellent selfie. Lookin’ good, Earl!
I hope you have a great Christmas.
Steve, a very merry Christmas to you as well.
Hope you have a great Christmas Earl. Hope to see more photos in 2014.
Thanks, Mark, and a very merry Christmas to you and yours!
Still looking good Earl. I hope you had a nice Christmas and I wish you a wonderful new year, one in which your photography will be everything you want it to be. Though may I say, having just gone back through your posts for the past year, you’ve made a fair number of stellar images for a year that “hasn’t been a stellar photography year”.
That’s a fabulous and joyful self portrait. I look forward to visiting your blog in the coming year and be inspired by your photography!
Ah, yes, looking good. And, what will next years look like?
Monte, I don’t know about looking good but it’s what I’ve got to work with and it beats the alternative! ;-)
