Bob O – Barred Owl & Shiva – Short-Earred Owl
Still working through photos from the Raptor Center.
It seemed only fair since the raptors were so heavily photographed some of the photographers should end up in front of a camera as well. :-)
Left to Right: Paul L. – Unknown – Tom D.
Yes…It was cold out there!
Yes! It was cold. Both you and Tom got shots of me. I didn’t take any of you guys, which is odd for me. :)
I guess you were a great target-of-opportunity Paul. At least I hid the faces to protect the guilty…oh, sorry, the innocent. :-)
I’m hoping I escaped being captured…unless Tom is planning on charging me to not publish a few images.
I trust you got model releases?
Ken, I swear I was using a long lens shooting from a public walkway…they had no expectation of privacy…or something like that!
Don’t make me check out that metadata!
Earl, I think you’re safe. I intended to get some shots of you but it seemed like whenever I was in position you were doing something other than posing. :)
Yeah, I’m not very good at posing, Tom. :-)
I recognize the first two images as owls but glad you told me who the three coots were in the second image. :-) I love it!
Hey Monte, you said “coots,” not me! ;-)
At least he didn’t say “old coots” :)
The two owl photographs are beautiful portraits. Well done.
Thanks, Tony…I appreciate that.
An impressive close up. Excellent technical quality. All those long lenses would intimidate me! :-)
Don, thanks. It’s like they say, “It’s not the size of your lens it’s how you use it.” ;-)
Gorgeous owls. Superb work on these. I kind of like the “coots”, too ;-)
