Happy Birthday to you, Earl!
My best wishes for a good next year of life, in good health and in a loving and caring community. Even when you are “still”, your photography is a gift for all of us to enjoy and learn to see.
Happy Birthday, Earl. Sometimes we need a little down time to accumulate stories, or perhaps be away from the ‘net for a bit. Congratulations on your next decade! :D
I hope you had a good birthday Earl. I too have been disconnected lately. That tends to happen every now and then, though these days it happens a little more frequently and each time seems to last a little longer. Still it’s not a total disconnect so I always come back to it. Anyway, enjoy your time away from technology and all the best for your next decade.
I can relate to how you are feeling. I’m having mixed thoughts about a lot of things, and even though I continue to take photographs, I’m not feeling like posting them just for the sake of posting them. I’m trying to sort it all out and articulate it in my mind, but finding it difficult to do.
Enough rambling; hope you had a good birthday and here’s to another decade of what life has to offer. I know you are enjoying your grandkids a lot and that’s a lot to be thankful for on your 60th. Take care.
Well, I see I came to this party late. But, Happy Birthday, Earl. I hope Bonnie spoiled you and if not you accomplished that task yourself. I don’t think posting everyday, commenting everyday is not what it’s about. When we show up, we show up, say what we’re lead to share and move on with our lives. One of the aspects of blogging that I’ve learned is to value the postings shared by friends. Allowing a blog to be our only focus is not what we’re called to do. Photographers need to be living in the world. You do that. Hey, you’re catching up to me in age. :-)

All the best – Markus
I like the composition, a little explosion of red with the berries inside a little explosion of green with the leaves. Nice photograph.
Happy Birthday Earl!
I can relate, I have been in a bit of a retreat myself lately.
Happy Birthday, Earl!
Happy birthday, Earl. It’s a temporary slump and it happens to all of us.
Happy 60th young fella…
Thanks All! :-)

Happy birthday Earl! I’m only a few weeks behind you.
Paul, Cedric, Eric, Monte & Steve…thanks!
Welcome to the “fun” years! Hope you have a lot of them. Great image, by the way…
