Wow! International acclaim! Congratulations, Earl. I read the Google translated article. :)

I’m curious as to how they even found you! Was it someone that you met/knew in that town that knew about your blog, or perhaps Bonnie knew them? If not, I suppose you were at the top of a Google search for that city/area. Cool, however they found you!

Congratulations, Earl! Would have been nice if they had asked your permission to use the photo, but at least they linked to your series of posts and that is the main consideration.

When does the travel book come out? :-)

Nice surprise indeed! Pretty cool Earl, and some well-deserved recognition.

Well, you did an awesome job in presenting that area so it really was a nice plug for both them and you. I’m not going to ask how much the paid you but next time you can ask for more. Congratulations, my fiend!

Way to go, Earl…that’s great! I agree that it was probably a keyword search that found you. I had a few of my recent Alaska photos linked to from a couple of places we visited. But nothing in the paper! Next, National Geographic?

Well deserved, Earl – your images from Cinque Terre are certainly worth to be seen from the Italian perspective, too. And as posts such as yours certainly help to boost tourism and with it that region’s income, it is only fair that you get a public acknowledgement for it.
