That quote gave me a deep shudder of recognition. Indeed, life flies by along—with the world we recognized. A sobering thought for the weekend. I hope yours is peaceful, Earl. I have been thinking about you.
Anita, that quote resonated strongly with me as well. We’ve been part of a transition generation — growing up in a pre-electronics/computer age to now find ourselves totally immersed in it. Thanks for you thoughts, they are truly appreciated.
A fine capture of these fellows braving the rapids. Excellent capture of the wave action in the middle of this shot. Fine work!
Don, I was taking photos of the river when this raft came rushing down stream. I had just enough time to raise my camera, follow it and and snap this photo. It was an opportunity that only lasted a few seconds. Thanks!
Time may pass quickly but it appears that the guys in the raft are putting it to a good use.
Steve, well they were definitely putting the speed of the strong current to good use as the flashed past my observation point. :-)
Great photo, Earl. it almost looks 3D!
Ken, I had noticed but you right it does look a little 3D! Thanks!
Great quote, great photo. I’d like to step out now, this is way to fast to me. :)
Ove, some days I’m thinking that life in general is “way to fast for me” but I don’t like the alternative.
Awesome image! I seldom watch television but when I do come across one, I’m baffled with the speed of the commercials. They can make me dizzy. I like that quote also. Thinking about you!
Thanks, Monte!
Wow – that looks amazing! I love the energy, the speed and joy in this image a lot.
Martina, i like this one too. I think one thing I like about it is for all that speed they still seem to be in control and directing their own path.
