“Give fools their gold, and knaves their power; let fortune’s bubbles rise and fall; who sows a field, or trains a flower, or plants a tree, is more than all.” — John Greenleaf Whittier
I fell in love with this cluster of pastel flowers the moment I spotted them and knew exactly how I wanted to photograph them…very naturally. Their beauty requires nothing more.
This one is yet another in the series of “lessons” you have shown. In this case, knowing when to leave well enough alone. I plan to visit this many more times—to remind myself that Spring didn’t lose its way to our planet. It just hasn’t yet found us.
Anita, sharing my own lessons. Sometimes you just can’t improve on nature. Hang in there, I’m sure a real Spring is on it’s way for you!
Great shot, Earl. The high key effect is perfect for these flowers.
I was in the same boat as Anita not long ago, wondering if Spring would ever happen.
Great example here of nature’s beauty Earl.
I like the mild colors and the sense of “light” in this shot. You did this one just right!
A very nice portrait of some of all the nature’s ballerinas. Excellent light!
That’s a wonderful high key image! I love it’s delicate and ethereal quality.
The high key gives this such a magical springtime feel!
