Earl Moore
Still about the light

Knowing if this is a sunrise or sunset is inconsequential — in either case it’s about the angle and warmth of the light, about the deep shadows still giving up slight detail, and about the energy of the fountains water and mist highlighted by the light.

The location is a Church courtyard. I thought if I’m looking for special light that would be a good place to start. ;-)

I’m experimenting with some new photographic ideas/projects but find myself at a bit of a lull for ready to share images at the moment so I pulled this photo from my archives.

Have a bright and fun weekend everyone.

I like this one very much. The low light gives the image very nice effects: back lit water and mist, nice glow on the walkway, etc. Very well done.

You’re right Earl — morning or evening doesn’t matter. It’s a beautifully done photo no matter what time of day it is.

Inconsequential? I need to know! LOL. Beautiful shot, Earl.

The lighting is absolutely beautiful! I love the deep golden tones and how the water seems to dance in the sun. The interplay between light and shade is stunning too… my compliments!

The colors here combined with the magical glow produce a memorable picture. I quite like that sense of mystery produced by the low light on the background.

It is nice to know that someone else sometimes waits a bit before revealing new work. ;)

Wonderful light in this image and a very warm feel to it. And, I did have a good weekend.
