When thinking of the city I current live in it’s not always in the most favorable terms. Without driving to surrounding areas there’s little good shopping, entertainment or fine dining available. We moved here for a job and now own a home. A common story I’m sure and there’s not much chance at the moment of selling the house even if we wanted to — so, it’s home.
However, the city has a beautiful historic homes area — with tree lined streets and the home styles ranging from spanish hacienda to southern colonial. Saturday morning I took a long photo walk in this historic area, capturing some of the lovely spring scenes which I’ll post this coming week.

It may not be exciting, but it’s a good place to view architecture. :)
That looks like a wonderful area to take long walks! I love the golden lighting on the buildings incredibly, it creates such a fresh and crisp atmosphere. And seeing the fist signs of the tiny green leaves on the trees only enhances that magical ambience. What a beautiful photograph!
@Paul and @Martina, thank you both!
One of the treats living east of the Mississippi River is the architecture of the older cities. As you know I walk the areas around our hotels and when in the older cities the architecture was always a fascinating subject for my camera.
