Even while winter persist, nature plans an upcoming spring. Photo made a couple of days ago in a local park while trying out a Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 VR “walking about” zoom lens on my D700 — this at 250mm f/9.
America’s Superbowl Sunday: I’m hoping to be entertained by the commercials tonight, although they’ve already leaked most of them. I liked it better when they kept them secret until the event.
just a beautiful capture!
Hey, thanks, Olivier. Have a wonderful day!
A most welcomed sight after the winter you folks have had!
Our winter has been colder then normal but I can only imagine how those in the midwest and New England are feeling about now. They probably wonder if spring will ever come.
Have a good SuperBowl Sunday, Steve! ;-)
I like the bright colors which remind me of spring. Fine shot.
I hope we’ll be experiencing the real thing before too long. Thanks, Don
Ah, this lovely promise that spring will come. A welcome reminderm beautifully done. Our weather here has been about as terrific as one could hope for winter, but I am missing color. Somehow your image reminds me to be patient and make the most of what I have. Spring will come in its own good time and I can strive to be ready.
When the spring color does come it seems to come with a sudden abundance almost overwhelming the senses. I look forward to seeing you capture the coming colors in your area — it’s really great seeing you able to enjoying photography again.
The light in this shot is simply beautiful.
Thanks, There were rays of sunlight falling upon the forest floor, one which happen to fall upon this new growth.
Looks like a nice lens, another tool in the toolbox.
Well, Puxatauney Phil didn’t she his shadow! Maybe the flowers have been keeping up with Phil! :) Lovely shot, Earl.
