Limbs with snow
Tree limbs with snow

Not much to say here. In this photo the lines and structure of these tree limbs/branches with a fine snow along the top sides caught my eye. The tree bark also gave interesting detail and snow upon the ground acted to reflect light back up upon them.

Still busy this week at work and my mind is only running at about fifty percent during the down times.

When work drains both mental and physical resources, I think running at fifty percent during down time is rather impressive. Judging by the photo here, I would say that your fifty percent is pretty darned productive.

A good observation of the shading and molding of the snow and reflected light. Very nice image.

I know the feeling all to well and sometimes makes it very difficult to notice such details.

I like the way you’ve caught the detail in the branches.

(And for some reason, when I type in your comment box I get extremely light text against a white box – I have to highlight to read what I’ve written. Not sure if this my browser (Firefox 3.6.13 for Mac) or something on your blog.)

I can relate also. I’m usually running at 50% when I return from a trip. Seems the first day back is lethargic. Yet, the photographers eye is always there. It’s picking up the camera that becomes the task. Have an awesome day, Earl.

I would have to agree with Anita. Impressive that you are able to maintain or utilize 50%. I’ve been reading about all of the work that you’ve been doing and it sounds like you’ve been running at about 150%, so 50 is good. Relax. Recharge. Enjoy.

Earl,

Beautiful shot. I too like the fine snow on the branches, the structure and details of it’s branches. Well done.
