Did I mention I was surrounded by beautiful scenes this past weekend while attending that wedding at Bald Head Island, NC? On one side, a lovely if not cliche sunset (as it came from the camera with no enhancement) and on the other my lovely wife patiently waiting while I make photos from the boardwalk.
Throw in some wonderful music from the wedding reception in the background and a private dance with my wife on the boardwalk. Good moments! ;-)
Sounds like a wonderful time and a beautiful setting with the wife by your side.
Don, there were indeed very nice moments even if parts of the trip were tiring.
Now, that sounds like a wonderful weekend!
Hi Paul, Like most time there were ups and downs but there were wonderful moments as well. I hope you had a great weekend as well.
Boy Earl, palm trees, a ship sailing in the distance, and a beautiful sunset. Now tell me, does life get any better?
Steve, hummm…maybe my cell phone ringing with the lottery board telling me I just hit the mega-jackpot — noooo…that’s asking too much! ;-) I do appreciate the wonderful times when they happen.
Lovely! You’re surfing on a good, strong wave now, Earl. It shows. You don’t need that lottery ticket. :-)
Hi Ove, you’re absolutely right…things are good! :-)
I like the vivid sunset shot… I never tire of sunrises and sunsets. The shot of your wife is in a nice location. What a pleasant and attractive person you have in your life!
Don, I’m the same way…no matter how cliche a sunrise or sunset may seem I can’t stop taking photos of them. Thanks!
I tell you, you have the life, Earl. a gorgeous wife, a new job, a weekend on the beach, romantic music, sunset, dance and an S90. Envious! I had just finished looking at Paul’s post when I looked at yours and for a minute thought you guys had a meet-up. But, alas, his is a sunrise and yours is a sunset. And, patience she has!
Hi Monte, hey, I know I’m a lucky guy and I’m grateful for everything. You need to get one of the new S95’s and then you’ll have one up on both Paul and I. ;-)
By pure chance I believe Paul and I were fairly close at the beach. He was only a little north of Southport/Bald Head Island.
You’re tempting me!!!!
Sounds very nice Earl, and glad you had a treasured moment.
