I’ve mentioned the “long trail” of Hurley Park in a number of posts this week. That name, “the long trail,” is one of my own choosing as it’s the trail which makes a large circle around most of the park — this is a snapshot I made while walking part of it.
So continuing with the theme of this post, happy trails to each of you this weekend. :-)
Striving to find joy in those things we do. Bonnie’s love for flowers and plants brings her pleasure, making them thrive, as the Meyer Lemon Tree image above shows. I also get enjoyment by photographing her results and then, as in this case, eating whatever wonderful treat she makes with the fruit of her labor….
A couple of days ago, I stepped outside our back door on a crisp fall morning in North Carolina and was greeted by a breathtaking display of bright yellow and vibrant orange leaves adorning the trees like nature’s confetti. The sun reflected off the wispy clouds, casting a warm golden glow that illuminated the landscape…
