This photo was shot at 14mm with a full-frame D700 so it’s extremely wide angle. This lens is especially good If turned slightly off center to make a path look as if it stretches far into the distance.
There was no cropping of this image and all processing was done in Lightroom 3.

I like the wide angle look of the shot. You made effective use of the len’s capabilities.
First off, you know I love images of paths and roads, so this aspect alone had me grinning. But handling a lens that wide is challenging, and you really pulled this off very well.
Chris, thanks, I always enjoy shooting with a wide angle lens but I only use it in spurts. I need to spend more time with it.
