Autumn – NC Mountain Water Features

But here of late, shooting with my Canon S90 and now my Olympus E-M5, I’ve been shooting at a 4:3 aspect, often composing with a 3:2 finished product in mind, so as to use all of the smaller sensor — then cropping the images to 3:2 during post-processing.

A fine memorial shot. I visited a grave yard hoping for something of this nature, but it proved to be
ground level so that the decorations took on a strange surreal look. Passed on that and decided to

Don, thanks. I believe memorial day is a perfectly fine day to be sentimental and we all owe your brother our gratitude.
A really nice shot, great use of lines in the image. It keeps me roaming around inside the image. Images of cemeteries with simple gravestones has a sobering effect on me. That was so evident on my first trip to Arlington Cemetery. Words cannot describe those emotions.

Nice photo!
