My Nikon D300’s shutter was firing in rapid three round burst as we struggled for altitude after a mid-flight stop on the dark waters of a cove. The float planes roar, my shutters clicking, all went unnoticed as everyones attention was riveted to the amazing scenes outside the glass.
It was a perfect recipe for feeling so very small but so very alive, all in the same moment.
Photos: Alaska, northeast of Ketchikan, at Punchbowl Cove and George Inlet, respectively.
That’s so cool! Amazing landscapes, reminds slightly of the coastal areas of Norway, our neighbouring country here in Scandinavia. Must be wonderful following waters like this in an air plane.
Two wonderful landscapes so beautiful from the air. It was treat to see such great looking views.
