I’ve got to say that I agree with David Rogers, Groundhog Day, in his recent post. I too am still liking Leopard, but these days I’m not finding the “fire” to blindly defend it as I once would have. Like David, I’ve largely outgrown that and have found there are much more important things in life. However, I’m also growing tired of the whining.
I’m enjoying most of the new features in Leopard, at least the ones I’ve figured out how to use thus far. I’ve not experienced major problems and I have to wonder how widespread these reported Leopard problems actually are. Out of the 2 million copies of Leopard sold the first weekend I don’t believe that say 1.9 million are having problems and I just happen to have three good installs. If I had that kind of luck I’d be in Las Vegas now.
Bottom line, the Mac and OS X are simply a computer and OS. It’s the brand I choose to use and the one I still enjoy the most these days, but they are still just tools.
