Monday, June 11th 2007, is the beginning of Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC ’07) in San Francisco. Steve Jobs will open the conference with one of his patent keynote presentations. The conference runs through June 15th.
Hopefully it will be an interesting week with some disclosure of additional features of OS X Leopard. Perhaps one of those features has already been leaked when Sun’s Jonathan Schwartz said that OS X’s next file system wuld be ZFS.
Other rumors of things that we may see, or not, see at WWDC.
- Other Mac OS X Leopard’s features including a complete change for OS X’s Finder (about time).
- An announcement about upgrades to iLife and iWork. This may be as stand alone upgrades or as an intergration with Leopard.
- An update to the iMac line.
- Mac mini either revised or canned.
- New Apple Cinema Displays with built in iSight cameras.
- An update to .Mac (please).
- An announcement of future third party applications for the iPhone.
Part of the fun is just seeing how close these rumors are to the truth.
