Let me introduce you to the newest member of my family.¬ We adopted Foster, a half Basset Hound half Golden Retriever puppy, on December 28th 2006. He was born on October 23rd 2006 just before Halloween. As you can tell from his little attitude (1st Pic) he thinks he’s the ruler of the house and there are times when I believe he may be correct.
He’s bright and loving with a terribly strong stubborn streak that Basset Hounds are know for (2nd Pic).¬ He loves to be held and touched. If I had to equate his current puppy age to a child’s age I would say he’s going through his terrible two’s or three’s about now.
He eats like a bottomless pit and is totally shocked and surprised when his food bowl is empty (3rd Pic).
He’s not sure what this blogging stuff is but he loves to watch me type on the keyboard.¬ If he could only get hold of it I’m sure he would find out what’s making that interesting noise.

What a cutie! I love Golden Retrievers and Basset Hounds, what a great mix. I think I’d likely be too busy smooching the little guy to do any blogging at all! Congratulations on your new family member. :)
