It’s one of those days where you just settle in and enjoy a quiet Sunday…raining much of the day and besides it’s a Football playoff weekend.

Earlier today, while enjoying a cup of coffee, I watched CBS’s Sunday Morning which had a story about memories and how they are created and change over time. As we get older our memories change according to our accumulated experiences and current circumstances. Therefore two people at the exact same event may remember it nearly the same shortly after it happens but will more then likely remember it much differently with the passage of some time. Our memories are the truth as we know it now.

I’m sure many you have taken the Myers-Briggs test which defines a personality indicator. I’ve always tested as a fairly strong introvert. It’s always strongest in social situations. If I’m in a business or technical setting I feel very confident and can seem fairly extraverted. Pamela Slim of “Escape from Cubicle Nation” recently did a post on “How to network: for introverts” that featured some good advice if your also a social introvert.

We’re coming up on a big week full of tech news and new product announcements. If you’re a tech gadget guy like me it will be an interesting week for sure. CES will be held at Las Vegas from Jan 8-11, and Apple’s Macworld will be held in San Francisco from Jan 8-12. If money wasn’t a constraint I would arrange to spend a couple of days at each. But as it is I will be following the news from on-line as usual. :-)
