One of the complaints about the iPhone has been that it’s browser, Safari, doesn’t support some of the more popular media formats, primarily Flash.  It appears that perhaps Apple is working to correct that situation…

AppleInsider | Mossberg: Apple working on Adobe Flash support for iPhone:
An impending software update to Apple’s iPhone will include a plug-in for the handset’s Safari web browser that will finally let users view Adobe Flash media files, the Wall Street Journal’s Walt Mossberg reports.

That’s one of the beauties of the Apple iPhone /  iTunes environment.  Apple can quickly and easily make revisions or additions to the OS and core applications of the iPhone in a straight forward and low impact manor.

As I’ve stated before, this is why the iPhone will have a long life because it will continue to evolve.  it also speaks why it’s probably a good idea to buy the 8 Gb model.  Give yourself some room to grow.
