“Problems that remain persistently insoluble should always be suspected as questions asked in the wrong way” ~ Alan Watts

We struggled for over a year trying to recreate and/or maintain our previous way of life through seeking employment of a similar type as we’ve always had before — trying to maintain the status quo.  It was clear this wasn’t working, and with the lack of answers, solutions and success the personal stress and frustration grew more prevalent each passing day.

It was with asking the question differently, “What opportunities are there now to live differently” that answers came and progress began.  Where before we were stalled with only dead ends,  we’re now swept along by the swift currents of positive change, barely able to keep up.

Our house sold after 17 days on the market — almost unheard of in this geographical area with a still depressed real estate market.  The close date is next February 13th (about 60 days) and we feel confident the buyers are sincere and there should not be any issues that would prevent the sell.

Wow! What an exciting time this is.

“The more a thing tends to be permanent, the more it tends to be lifeless” ~ Alan Watts

If the essence of life is about the universal process of change then we find ourselves splashing around happily in the midst of it, feeling so very alive!

  1. I’m surprised that it lasted that long! You didn’t know what a gem that you had, but I did! :D

    • You’re absolutely right, Paul. In this case we didn’t see…or perhaps didn’t dare believe…the house could possibly sell this quickly. It was only after talking to others about selling it we began to recognize in part what we had. But, hey, if we had to be wrong, being wrong about this is great! Thanks!

  2. Oh, yeah. Congratulations!!!
