Well, not literally every minute. Waiting in a mall near the product placement of a shiny new 2012 Chrysler 300 sedan, complete with sticker, I watched and recorded people with my iPhone 4 — a mini-project if you will.

Showing some interest

Some looked long and hard reading the sticker details.
Some invited friends and pointed out important line items.
Some look inside and out.
Some kept walking.
Some you could feel the “I wish” from.
Some came back for a second look.

  1. I like that tableau format – the images are similar enough to form a series but in all their formality so different that it gives the eye a lot of subject matter to wander around.

    • Markus, thanks. A table works well to keep images “arranged.” The similarity and differences prompted me to use this format for display.

  2. What a brilliant project. The people watching involved must have been quite entertaining and insightful. Great images too.

    • David, thanks. As a “people watcher” it was very interesting. I don’t think any of them noticed I was taking photos with my iPhone.

  3. Great idea and implementation of your little project. Right away the idea entered my mind to have a series of images of passengers attempting to place oversized bags in the overhead. LOL

  4. I really like the arrangement of the photos, Earl. It helps tell a visual story.

  5. @Monte & @Ken….thanks!
