New Fern Growth - Southwest Florida
New Fern Growth - Southwest Florida

There’s much beautiful new growth in the wetlands here in southwestern Florida — new Fern growth photographed above near the National Audubon Rookery Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.

My Internet access is limited as I try to balance a vacation, wedding anniversary and my love of photography so I’m not reading, responding and commenting as quickly as I normally do. :-)

Woke up this morning to heavy thunderstorms — yes it’s Florida!

  1. I think you have the priorities in the correct order. Don’t worry about us but have fun, enjoy time with your wife! Oh, and I love the green.

    • Monte, thanks! Actually those three priorities are merging quite happily, I’m glad to report. Bonnie went with me on my photographic explorations today and we had a great time and saw some wonderful sights — best of both worlds.

  2. Florida; let me guess, it’s also humid!

    • Steve, we must of picked the one week in the year when it’s not humid. Temperatures are in the upper 70’s and low 80’s and quite pleasant — I’m as surprised as anyone. ;-)

  3. Wedding anniversaries and vacations are top priority stuff. We will be here welcoming you back. Enjoy!

I love new spring green. Lovely.

    • Anita, yea, wedding anniversaries are definitely TOP priority. ;-) We’re having a good time seeing sights that certainly aren’t available in North Carolina — getting some nice photos as well.
