Spring early morning fog

Burning off springs early morning fog

“Nature gives to every time and season some beauties of its own; and from morning to night, as from the cradle to the grave, it is but a succession of changes so gentle and easy that we can scarcely mark their progress.” – Charles Dickens

Absolutely beautiful. My kind of image, though you have captured the image far better than I ever could. The light and composition are just superb. Wonderful work

The lightening effect of the fog makes the trees take on a beautiful look I really like.
Fog, even when its nearly gone, is a magical substance in pictures. This is a fine one.

At a time where we are being hit with spring blizzards, seeing a high key, warm image like this give me hope that it will be warm soon. :-) Thanks!

@Mark: There’s a strong freeze warning for tonight and they’ve had snow in the NC mountains not far from here today so this photo might have been premature. :-)
