I took a few days off from posting. I find I’ll sometimes get lost in the grind of blogging and begin to feel I must post each and every day–it becomes about “making production.”
This negative attitude shift sneaks up on me and at that point blogging is no longer a positive experience. I believe this can happen with any projects we assign ourselves. What starts our as fun, interesting and challenging can transform to a tedious chore. In many cases the project hasn’t changed but our attitude has.
So, I needed a few days to give my mind a chance to right itself and to realize the worlds not coming to an end because I didn’t write something. Let there be fun again!
You mean that the earth won’t stop rotating? I thought that I felt it slow down a bit. ;-) I’ll probably take a few days off from posting, myself.
