This is my first post via WIFI using the WordPress App on my iPod Touch.
I wasn’t sure how hard it would be using the mobile client, especially on the touch keypad, but it actually works quite well.
I wouldn’t want to type a long post this way but for a short or quick article it’s acceptable.

I arose early this morning and decided to do some “link hopping.” Link hopping is when you go to someone’s web site/blog and click on their weblog links and then from that site you click on one of their weblog links, hopping from site to site.
I enjoy this random method of finding new and interesting people and on many occasions have discovered some great reads.
While link hopping this morning I came to a conclusion about one thing.
I HATE the “Snap Shots” windows (snap.com) on web sites! These little floating pop-up windows that activate whenever you mouse over a link, photo, etc are distracting, ruin the feel, cheapen the first impression and are totally annoying for visitors! Much like sitting down for a picnic in the park and then there’s this “bee” that keeps buzzing around your head.
Want me to quickly hit the browser back button and or close the window on your site, then use “Snap Shots” and I’m gone!

Thomas Hawk has a post “The 10 Best Things About the New Adobe Lightroom 2.0” at his Digital Connection blog.
Gotta say I agree with the ten favorite items Thomas selected.
For me the dual monitor support and Plugin Manager are important new features as well.

[Plug-in Manager]
No doubt there will be improvements in my own digital photo processing workflow with Lightroom 2. In Lightroom 1.x, I’d often switched over to Adobe Photoshop for final photo processing, but with Lightroom 2 most can now be done within Lightroom.
Still looking under the hood so there may be more to note later.

Adobe Systems Inc. released Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 software today. New enhancements include dual-monitor support, advances in non-destructive localized image correction and streamline search capabilities. Upgrade cost from Lightroom 1.x is $99 or a new license is $299.
I’ve used Adobe Lightroom 1.x for some time and have been playing around with the Lightroom 2 Beta that was released earlier this year. I look forward to upgrading.
