Stevie has definitely not lost anything over the years and the performance last night, which he dedicated to his mother, was excellent.

Rowan Holiday Caravan Parade

As a child I can remember my mother always taking my sister and I to the Holiday or Christmas Parade in the small town I grew up in.

I don’t think small town parades have changed much in the last 40 years or so and it seems that now, as then, kids still enjoy them immensely.

Leopard: Problem doing an upgrade on a Mac Cube

I recently experienced my first problem while installing Apple’s OS X 10.5 Leopard.

This install took place on a Mac Cube upgraded with a 1.2 ghz G4 processor, 1 gb of memory and a 120 gB hard disk. With this install I’d selected to do an upgrade which upgrades over the current version of OS X, in this case Tiger 10.4.x

Apple OS X 10.5.1 maintenance update released

Apple today released maintenance update 10.5.1 for Leopard users.

Loving these fall colors

I’ve been really amazed these last couple of day at how much color there has been this fall. With the severe drought in this region I thought most of our foliage would probably go from green directly to brown, but that’s not been the case.
