PC Magazine reviews the latest Apple 17-inch Laptop

200708310922PC Magazine did a recent review of the latest Apple MacBook Pro 17in Laptop and gave it a “Very Good” rating.  They said that it continues to be the lightest 17-inch laptop on the market, with faster components then before and a 1080p resolution.  They called it’s design elegant.

The CONS they mentioned were that there wasn’t a less-expensive configuration and that RAM upgrades (via Apple) were insanely expensive.

I agree with PC-Mag about the RAM upgrade prices but I think that they missed the intent with the comment of a less-expensive configuration.  This is a PRO (professional) laptop with top grade components and design.  Yes, these things cost you…want less expensive, get a Dell.
