There’s no place they can’t reach you now

According to Motorola, UK mountaineer Rod Baber made the worlds highest mobil phone call and text messaging from the top of Mount Everest on Monday, May 21, 2007.  So now you never have to worry about breaking that cellular umbilical cord.

The world just shrank and the the top of Mt. Everest just became a lot more crowded.  It’s a little sad to my way of thinking.
