Linux: doing my part

200704261534

I was working with Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty this morning and thinking about Linux in general.

Doing a quick sweep around my home I counted two wireless routers, a Network Access Storage (NAS) device, a network FTP server, and a micro network USB server (currently not being used), all running some version of Linux. In addition I have a duel booting Linux PC (Ubuntu and OpenSUSE) and two virtual copies of Linux (Ubuntu & Kbuntu) on my Mac Pro.

That’s nine Linux OS’s or devices. More then OS X and certain more then Windows.

I’m doing my part for the Penguin!
