Reasons for NOT linking in Blogs
I continue to see posts dealing with the subject of linking or not linking in blogs. Some say that by not linking it is damaging the utility of the blogosphere- both as a conversational medium and as an information resource. That may be true. For me it’s a simply matter of personal integrity and of making my posts as user friendly as possible.
Through my readings, my own “deep considerations”, and a little twisted humor, I’ve managed to come up with a top-ten reasons list for NOT linking:
10. Linking, how do you do that?
9. Linking is too much trouble and I’m too lazy to do it.
8. I don’t want to give credit to these people.
7. I’ve totally misused someones post and I don’t care to be discovered.
6. My post had absolutely no original content so why should I make it easy for you to find this out?
5. Linking is beneath me, my words are the most important and of course are the absolute final word on any subject.
4. Since I’m popular my links are part of my power base and I’ll only bestow them on those I consider my peers or on someone who can be of help to me.
3. Gosh, if you start linking the next thing you know they’ll expect you to have conversations or respond to comments…oh, I forgot I turned off my comments!
2. If you are a true jedi and believe in the force then you’ll discover
my links through gestures and only when they are ready to be found.
1. You can’t make me!

Yer timing is Perfect!
I’m just getting around to the point of adding more Links to my Blog after going thru the Fiasco of upgrading to Blogger Beta*
The Template i chose Originally didn’t even have a Default Links section on it!! Like whassup with that when Blogging 101 tells U to ADD LINKS in order to generate more traffic to yer Blog & god forbid Click on yer Google AdSense ads or Amazon books or whatever other Widget U can dream up to Make $$$!

So it was a Pain learning how to do that for a non programmer type & once U reached 3 Links not entirely obvious how to Add more – Quickly & Easily!
Also i wasn’t able to post Photos & my ramblings from Flickr for over 3 weeks so it was a real Pain in the A$$*
But this linking dealio seems like a LONG SLOW process!!
I’m trying to GET RICH QUICK Blogging!!
Any ideas on How Exactly i should go about that???

p.s. I was so frustrated at Blogger & Google for foisting that Crappy Beta on their endusers b4 it was even close to being ready I was gonna Launch a Class Action suit & Sue them – do U know any good Lawyers that might wanna have FUN with that???

If your wanting to make money blogging your talking to the wrong guy. LOL Personally I’m not into this for money. There are some people that have and do make money blogging but I don’t think I’ll ever be one of them.
