No new laptop battery for me

MacWorld – Apple recalls Sony-made PowerBook, iBook batteries

It was announced today that Apple will get to join the fun that Dell is having recalling the Sony laptop batteries that overheat and in some cases burn. Apple will recall over 1 million batteries from older 12″ iBook, 12″ Powerbook G4, and 15″ Powerbook G4 laptops.

Part-time blogging, the second job

Then there’s the other priorities of normal life such as family, friends, eating, sleeping, recreation, etc. Finding a few quiet moments to put together two thoughts much less read, analyze, and write coherently is definitely a challenge many times.My “normal” week day blogging routine goes something like this….¬† Then it’s off to work and a 40 minute commute.At work, if conditions permit I’ll take a 15-20 minute mid-morning break and once again scan news and new blog post….¬† The afternoon includes another similar break and sometimes I will put in a few extra minutes at the end of my workday to get some content I’ve worked on during lunch or breaks posted.Then it’s 40 minutes back home, dinner with the wife and catching up on what’s happened during the day.
