Maggie loves walking in the surf along the beach and wading deeper at a sandbar where the beach comes to a point and the water remains shallow well out from shore. Of course she usually gets a walk at least once per day and these photos represent a few of the sights from one of these walks. After yesterday's 190 mile drive due south from Perry, Georgia, we find ourselves again in Florida, along the Suwannee River. We'd travelled and stayed not terribly far from here during our 2015 RV adventures so the landscape seems familiar.

Quail Creek State Park and its 600-acre reservoir lies only 4.5 miles from our current RV park location. After so much desert, it's visually refreshing to enjoy the scenic beauty of water.

Our drive on Thursday from Santa Fe, NM, to Gallup, NM, was uneventful -- no warning lights and no countdown to disaster. With less-than-perfect weather forecasted for the coming weekend, we elected on Friday to drive the 70+ miles to visit the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona.
